This course aims to:
i) develop an understanding of Limit State Design as applied to structural steel members and connections based
on the Eurocode
3 – Design of Steel Structures with Singapore Annexes;
ii) equip students in applying the knowledge learned to design standard steel beams, columns, and connections
commonly found in steel structures.
