The rationale of this module is to augment the Biomedical Engineering undergraduate module portfolio with a module in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. The purpose of the module is to cover the physical principles and engineering science associated with Tissue Engineering, encompassing biomaterial selection, tissue scaffold design, bio printing, and cell-matrix interactions.
