This course is designed for those who have NO or VERY LIMITED knowledge of Korean. The objective of this course is to give students basic knowledge of Korean language and to help students acquire a basic level of communicative competence in Korean. By the end of this course, students will be able to 1) write and read the Korean alphabet. 2) understand basic grammatical elements, such as particles, endings, and present/past/future tense. 3) greet each other and introduce themselves. 4) carry out conversations about topics relating to everyday life. 5) understand simple texts and write about familiar things and experiences
