The aim of the courses is

• to give to the student basics about safety and stability of Power Systems. Among others, production/consumption equilibrium and insights about stability issues related to large failures. Then basics about availability of the production units and production plan is introduced, together with energy markets issues and ability to provide ancillary services.
• power conversion of nuclear power plant is covered as well, together with the variation of output power (French REP specificity)
• Multi-tasks operating systems for critical digital control systems - protective scheme of Power Systems through a Real Time Operating System managing several tasks in parallel and application.
