Course Info
The aim of this module is to give the students skills to analyze, design and simulate devices using fluids: hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings, hydraulic systems : fluid power control. The application areas are very diverse in industry, aerospace, automotive ... The emphasis is on learning through project, two case studies conducted by outside contributors and an introduction to the dynamic simulation of hydraulic circuits using AMESim©. A Practical Work on an electrohydraulic position control is proposed. The objective is to analyze the structure, identifying characteristics, to provide a control setting, performing tests of response to typical inputs, to finally build a AMESim model and compare measures and results simulation.
