The Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most distinctive and instantly recognisable buildings. You will have seen it on postcards, tourist brochures, television shows, films, souvenirs, art works and there is even a kit that allows you to build your very own version of it out of LEGO. Whether this is your first time in Sydney or you have lived here all your life, this course gives you the opportunity to look at this iconic building from a range of different perspectives in order to understand and appreciate it anew. Through a series of self-paced walking tours, you will see and experience the Opera House through multiple ‘lenses’. In response, you will develop critical reflective responses to these experiences and, in the process, learn something new about yourself and your learning.
