The course is an introductory course of Thermodynamics for sophomores. Students will learn the basic concepts of classical thermodynamics including conservation equations, state relations, and first and second laws of thermodynamics. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyze and characterize thermodynamic states and equip the skills necessary for systematic problem-solving.

- Thermodynamic properties
- First and Second laws
- Evaluating thermodynamic properties
- Energy conservation using control volume analysis
- Analysis using entropy
