SYLLABUS: Elements of engine turbocharging; Thermodynamics of turbo- and supercharging; Basic compressible flow in engines (valves, manifolds); Elements of non-ideal compressible flows: shock, heat transfer, friction; Blading in Pumps and Turbines, Momentum Transfer;Turbocharging systems - principles of matching.
