This course covers the fundamentals of flat panel displays. The operating principles and the driving schematics of various flat panel displays are introduced. The following subjects are covered: fundamental optics; liquid crystal and liquid crystal displays (LCDs); organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs); flexible displays, and so on.
